We’ve given our much-loved Creamy Hydrating a makeover, and this new formula is creamier, gentler and far more hydrating thanks to the addition of Hyaluronic Acid. Perfect for normal to dry skin that craves a moisture boost, but still light enough for oily or blemish-prone types too.

Most cleansers rely on just one foaming agent, often harsh and drying. We use a clever combo of four natural Coconut and Glucose-based cleansers. This makes our bestselling formula extra gentle and more effective at lifting away the day, without leaving your skin tight or thirsty.

How to use:

AM - Fresh Start

1. Massage a few pumps into damp skin. Rinse with warm water.
2. Rinse well, then follow with your go-to serum, moisturiser and SPF.

PM - Wind Down

1. Start with an oil cleanser to gently melt away makeup, SPF, dirt and excess oils. Massage into dry skin then rinse off or wipe away with a warm, damp cloth.
2. Follow with the Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser to cleanse the skin and wash away impurities and any leftover residue. This creamy, Hyaluronic Acid-rich fomula leaves your skin soft, clean and hydrated - never tight or dry!
3. Rinse off, pat dry and follow with your favourite serum and night cream - we love our Night Restoration Cream!

How is this new Creamy Hydrating formula different to the last?

Our bestselling silky-smooth cleanser is still the gentle favourite you know, but we’ve made it even better. The new formula now includes Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate (a high-quality form of Hyaluronic Acid) to deeply hydrate and lock in moisture. It’s proven to be four times more hydrating than our previous formula, helping to plump, smooth and strengthen the skin barrier. Still suitable for all skin types, from dry to oily, sensitive to blemish-prone, and still gentle enough for daily use, morning and night.

Why Double Cleanse?

It really comes down to personal preference, but we recommend double cleansing for the best results. This two-step routine helps remove both oil-based and water-based impurities like makeup, sunscreen, sweat, dirt and pollution. The first step, an oil-based cleanser, melts away makeup and excess oils. The second step, a water-based cleanser, washes off any leftover residue, leaving your skin clean and ready to absorb the rest of your skincare.

Are your Cleansers made of Milk?

We aren’t called MooGoo because our cleansers are made of milk. No cleansers or moisturisers are made of milk, or in fact, have any meaningful amount of milk in them at all. Despite what labels may claim. If you think about it, putting milk in a moisturiser and then sitting it on the shelf for a year or so would make it very smelly! The only exception to this is our Goats Milk & Hydrating Buttermilk Cleansing Bars, which go through a saponification process to make them stable.   We do also use Milk Protein in some of our products, like in our bestselling Milk Wash,  because the protein helps with skin elasticity. Milk Protein doesn’t go rancid, it is the fats and sugars in milk that go sour.

Can I use this cleanser if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Our Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser is designed to be extra gentle. It’s free from harsh foaming agents like SLS and we don’t use Parabens or Phenoxyethanol. The added Hyaluronic Acid makes it especially soothing for dry or sensitive skin.

'Fragrance' is listed as one of the ingredients in this product. What does this mean?

When we first started making products, we used a blend of essentials oils to give them a lovely fragrance. But many people have severe reactions and allergies to them, even in small amounts. As a result, and because we make products for people with sensitive skin, we took them out of most products.

Instead, we helped to develop a special kind of fragrant oil, whereby each component in it is less than the EU allergy threshold. This is how we can have a pleasant-smelling product without the reactions. The scents we use are proprietary blends from the company we get them from, and we’ve had no reactions since we made the switch. Also, of course, it is free from phthalates, which is the main concern in fragrances.

Are your cleansers safe for lash extensions?

Yes, it’s perfect for lash extensions. Our cleanser has the same irritation score as water and is free from oils that can break down lash glue. Just avoid using oil-based cleansers (like our Oil Cleansing Method) around the eye area while you’ve got your lashes on.
